We are Tom Tom Hendry and Rhiannon Jones, and we felt the need to develop a Community Interest Company, allowing individuals with lived experience to have a direct voice. We also identified a need for focused, effective, and honest training to be available for professionals who wish to grow their understanding and improve their practice.

Having worked together collaboratively since 2015 our styles and experiences complement each other, forming an effective working partnership. We are approachable and able to offer a wealth of knowledge, promote a clear understanding for professionals in how best to engage and remove barriers to provide better outcomes for Gypsies and Travellers. Together we have arranged events, consulted with community members, and co-delivered the training developed by Tom Tom.

Our training provides attendees with the opportunity to engage with two experienced professionals with a relaxed approach which helps our delivery not only be informative but engaging, with an element of fun and rest assured you will be in safe hands and supported during our training.

 

The need for trainers to have good chemistry is not lost on us and we aim to provide the best experience for attendees. It is important that you gain an increased understanding, and we aim to meet this outcome through our delivery style, of sharing our knowledge and experience with you and not rely heavily on a power point presentation. We will ensure you consider aspects you may not have previously been aware of and you will be provided with the opportunity for open and honest discussion without judgement.
