There and Back Again 

There and Back Again training packages are designed by Tom Tom. Accessing training which has been developed by a Gypsy with a professional background in equality is extremely important and supports the understanding reached by the Welsh Government through the new Anti Racist Wales Action Plan. Tom Tom's lived and professional experience is complimented by Rhiannon's personal and professional understanding to provide attendees with a unique learning experience.

Our training has been refined over a number of years with feedback from clients and trainees. We aim to provide training which improves professional understanding and practice, which in turn benefits Gypsy and Traveller families by bringing about change. It is important that our training is honest and practical. It allows trainees to share their experiences of working with Gypsies and Travellers. We know that some of these interactions will have been difficult. Together we will explore why these situations arise and how they can be prevented.

 

We are actively involved with new developments and training is reviewed regularly to ensure it incorporates new legislation, developments and policy changes.
